Growth thru Change is growing, and we are excited to announce a new location for in-person therapy in East Falls, Philadelphia.
Through our partnership with Martin Healing Sanctuary, we are expanding access to compassionate mental health care in a setting created to support reflection, connection, and meaningful change.
Our East Falls therapy location gives more people across Northwest Philadelphia, Lower Merion, and the Main Line a convenient option for meeting with a therapist in person.
This expansion makes it easier to find the right support, in the right environment, closer to where you live and work.
A New Chapter for Growth thru Change
Growth thru Change supports people who may appear capable on the outside while feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck internally. Our therapists help clients understand their needs, recognize patterns that are no longer serving them, and move toward a life that feels more authentic.
Our practice provides therapy for anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, grief, identity concerns, life transitions, and other emotional challenges. Our clinicians also offer approaches including Dialectical Behavior Therapy, trauma-informed therapy, psychedelic therapy, and other individualized forms of support.
As our community has grown, so has the need for accessible in-person therapy in Philadelphia. Our Center City office continues to welcome clients, while the East Falls location offers an additional option for people who live closer to Northwest Philadelphia or prefer a quieter neighborhood setting.
The office is located at Martin Healing Sanctuary, 3580 W Indian Queen Lane, Philadelphia, PA 19129. The sanctuary brings together psychotherapy, ketamine treatment, mindfulness, somatic practices, and other integrative wellness services in a thoughtfully designed space.
Why East Falls?
Location can affect whether therapy feels realistic and sustainable. A difficult commute may become another barrier when someone is already managing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship stress, work pressure, or a major life transition.
Our new location makes in-person appointments more accessible to people in East Falls and nearby areas, including Manayunk, Roxborough, Wissahickon, Chestnut Hill, West Mount Airy, Lower Merion, and communities along the Main Line.
For people searching for a therapist in Philadelphia but hoping to avoid traveling into Center City, East Falls provides another option within the city. Clients can choose the location that works best for their schedule, transportation needs, and comfort.
The East Falls office is also conveniently positioned for clients traveling from Lower Merion, the Main Line, and surrounding Philadelphia neighborhoods.
Types of Therapy Services We Offer in East Falls
Our East Falls location at Martin Healing Sanctuary offers several forms of mental health support. Whether you are exploring ketamine-assisted psychotherapy or looking for more traditional therapy in Philadelphia, our team can help you find an approach that aligns with your needs.
Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy
Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy, commonly called KAP, is a central part of our work at Martin Healing Sanctuary.
KAP combines ketamine treatment with structured psychotherapeutic support. Depending on the individual treatment plan, this may include preparation sessions, therapeutic support surrounding the medicine experience, and integration sessions that help clients reflect on what arose and connect those insights to everyday life.
People may explore KAP when they feel stuck in recurring patterns or continue to experience symptoms after previous treatment. It may be considered as part of care for concerns such as depression, anxiety, trauma, or treatment-resistant symptoms.
KAP is not appropriate for everyone. Careful screening, preparation, collaboration, and individualized planning are important when determining whether this form of therapy is suitable.
At our East Falls location, KAP is approached as a therapeutic process rather than an isolated experience. Clients receive a supportive framework in which they can explore emotions, consider new perspectives, and work toward meaningful change with trained professionals.
Anxiety Therapy
Anxiety therapy can help when worry, panic, perfectionism, overthinking, physical tension, or fear begins to affect everyday decisions.
Working with an anxiety therapist in East Falls may help you identify triggers, understand your emotional and physical responses, strengthen coping skills, and change patterns that keep anxiety active. Therapy can also create space to explore the experiences, expectations, and relationships contributing to ongoing anxiety.
Depression Therapy
Depression therapy provides a supportive space to address low mood, numbness, exhaustion, hopelessness, loss of motivation, or disconnection.
Because depression affects everyone differently, treatment is personalized. Some clients may benefit from practical strategies for managing daily symptoms, while others may need deeper therapeutic work involving grief, trauma, identity, relationships, or long-standing emotional patterns.
Trauma Therapy
Trauma therapy supports people whose past experiences continue to affect their sense of safety, relationships, self-worth, emotional responses, or nervous system.
Treatment is paced according to each client’s needs and readiness. Depending on the therapist and treatment plan, trauma therapy in East Falls may incorporate EMDR, psychodynamic therapy, somatic awareness, mindfulness, and other trauma-informed approaches.
Additional Therapy Services
Depending on therapist availability and clinical fit, our East Falls therapy services may also include:
- Individual therapy for adults navigating emotional, relational, or life challenges
- Couples therapy for communication difficulties, conflict, trust, intimacy, and changing relationship needs
- Teen and family therapy for stress, transitions, emotional challenges, and family relationships
- EMDR therapy for trauma, triggers, distressing memories, and unresolved experiences
- Support for grief, identity, LGBTQ+ concerns, self-esteem, OCD, bipolar disorder, relationship patterns, and major life transitions
Offering multiple specialties within one practice allows us to thoughtfully match clients with therapists whose experience and approach align with their needs. Growth thru Change provides support through anxiety therapy, depression therapy, KAP, couples therapy, family therapy, trauma therapy, and EMDR.
Why In-Person Therapy Can Matter?
Virtual therapy offers valuable flexibility, but some people prefer doing therapeutic work face to face.
Meeting in person can create a clearer separation between therapy and the demands of home, work, school, or caregiving. It may also benefit clients who value a private setting, find it easier to remain engaged outside the home, or want a dedicated environment for deeper emotional work.
Martin Healing Sanctuary offers a calm and intentional setting while maintaining the professional structure and clinical care that therapy requires.
What to Expect When You Contact Us?
You do not need to know which therapy approach, service, or clinician is right for you before reaching out.
We begin by learning what you are experiencing and what kind of support you hope to find. We can then discuss therapist availability, appointments in East Falls or Center City, and whether anxiety therapy, depression therapy, trauma therapy, EMDR, couples therapy, family therapy, or KAP may align with your needs.
For those exploring ketamine-assisted psychotherapy in Philadelphia, a consultation is also an opportunity to ask questions about the process, preparation, safety considerations, and coordination of care.
