I am a licensed social worker who aims to build warm and connected relationships with clients. I work from a relational and psychodynamic perspective, specializing in supporting individuals and people in a variety of relationship structures wanting to explore gender, sexuality, grief and loss, depression, and harm reduction. With extensive experience supporting survivors of harm and people responsible for causing harm, I bring a trauma-informed framework to creating space where clients collaboratively build safety in the therapeutic relationship.
Within the therapy context, I bring awareness of systems of oppression that impact health and wellness. Using this systemic approach, I work with clients to build increased connection with their feelings and bodies, as well as increased connection with others. I support people in exploring sex, intimacy, and play, individually or with a partner or partners through queer affirming care.
I received my master’s degree in social work from the University of Pennsylvania and bachelors degree in sociology from Middlebury College in Vermont. Prior to my career as a therapist, I worked as an educator in New York City, designing academic and social curriculum for students with disabilities, and at a law firm that supports families of students with disabilities. I bring intention around accessibility when working with clients across the lifespan (including kids and teens).
I have additional training in Emotionally Focused Therapy and Restorative Justice facilitation. I am also Wilderness First Responder certified and a trained yoga teacher.
